  5. I take it this is a Southwest thing? I have never flown them before, I'm a Delta girl. (Sounds so sorority-ish!)

  6. I just experienced the Group A/B/C thing for the first time in January.
Quite organized and boarded much faster than other airlines I thought.

I'm very curious, psychologically speaking, how does ones reaction to "Group B, Position 1" differ from their reaction to being "Group A, Position 60"?

  7. Group B is the result of being trapped in a meeting and realizing that your confirmation number (for a flight that you didn't book with your credit card) is in your hotel room.

B1 actually isn't that bad given that I only checked in 16 hours before my flight.

Paula, B1 is psychologically DEVASTATING compared to A anything. I know it's lame. I accept that.

  8. It's not lame!! I hated that I was in group B ! I just think its funny that while technically its no different than #60 and #61 (to which probably no one would have any reaction), but by giving it a different name "Group B" people react emotionally to it. Funny!
