11 Reasons Why I Love My Wife...

Obviously this is a guest blog...JennAnn does not have a wife (at least, I don't think she does...I don't think she swings that way...hmm...). Well, anyway, the reason I pick 11 is because, contrary to popular belief, I am not that creative and 11 is my number (just as 33 is Jenn's number). So, here we go:

1) She let's me refer to her as "the wife"
2) She refers to herself as "the wife"
3) She lets me bowl and play softball
4) She comes and watches my softball games (she is my team's cheerleader...they are very disappointed when she doesn't come)
5) She cleans and does laundry and cooks even though it hurts her physically to do so
6) She calls our dog "the Booger" and our cat "Puddy"...even when she is mad at them
7) She mimics the children of her friends (using words like toot [cute], roni & cheese [macaroni & cheese], etc.)
8) She has actually got me to do numbers 6 & 7
9) She is the most intelligent person I know
10) She understands that I am not exactly Mr. Handy Man when it comes to the house or to cars
11) She fell in love with me because (only because, in my opinion) of my smarts.

I know I could come up with more than this, but Jenn knows more than anyone that I am not really a gushy type of person. Besides, I don't want to my sista-in-law upchuck again.

Love you, babe!!

Congratulations to the hubby!!

The hubby bowled another 300 game last night!!!! YAY!!!!! Don't quote me on this, but I think it's his 7th sanctioned and 12th total 300 game. Apparently I will need to write another 33 reasons why I love him next week so that he bowls another 300 game. Good job Bunny!!!

BBB # 23

Double eviction week = CRAZY!!!

I'm sad that both Jessica and Eric got the boot. I am happy that they really do love each other and we didn't have to watch one of them separate from the other for long. Eric's good-bye message to Jess was sweet.

I no longer have any desire to watch After Dark because the final four (Dick, Daniele, Zach, and Jameka) are kinda boring.

If Daniele doesn't win I will be thoroughly disappointed.

Jameka is apparently trying to fill the role of Wah-mber. STOP CRYING!!!

Reasons Why I Love My Husband

1) He loves me (sometimes I make that difficult-at least I admit it).
2) He brings things to me from up/downstairs when I am down/upstairs.
3) He lets me call him "Bunny".
4) He kills bugs that dare enter our house, no matter what size they are.
5) He cleans the cat's litter box and cleans up after the dog.
6) He lifts/carries everything that I cannot (and these days that list is getting pretty long).
7) He puts my car in the garage every night after securing "the furries" and brings my belongings into the house.
8) He gets my car washed and oil changed.
9) He allows me to be addicted to blogging and shows interest (or at least pretends to).
10) He supports me even if he doesn't always agree with me.
11) He tolerates my weird control freak tendencies.
12) He tolerates my messiness. (I know, I know, how can a control freak be messy?!).
13) He loves my insane family and gets along well with them.
14) He challenges me and loves playing devil's advocate.
15) He accepts the fact that he only gets a quarter of the space in our walk in closet.
16) He will gladly let me do whatever I want, as long as I let him play video games whenever he wants.
17) He has probably done the laundry more times than I have since we've lived together.
18) He has probably cooked dinner more times than I have since we've lived together.
19) He has been known to run out and pick up food far too many times to count, while I sit at home.
20) He is amused by the fact that I require constant challenges and need to continually learn something new to be happy.
21) He will fetch Motrin and water whenever I need it.
22) He takes out the trash.
23) He is a good bowler which allows me "proud wife bragging rights".
24) He runs much faster than you'd expect (again allowing me proud wife bragging rights).
25) He gets along with everyone!
26) He doesn't watch football other than the Super Bowl.
27) He doesn't watch basketball...ever?
28) He loves baseball.
29) He loves hockey.
30) His family is GREAT!
31) He's an only child of an only child - that means we get all of the attention at family functions!
32) German Dance Group!
33) He's possibly a bigger geek that I am!

I love you Bunny!!!

BBB #22

This is Will subbing in for Jenn tonight. Here are my thoughts on tonight's show:

- Eric mimicking Dick was great. Only an ego maniac like Dick would actually find humor in it. But, from a viewer's prospective, it was very entertaining.

- Note to Dick...have you looked in the mirror lately? Come on, with your looks combined with your attitude, Janelle is WAY out of your league, dude!

- Daniele really pisses me off sometimes, but she is one hell of a competitor. If there is ever a BB All-Stars 2, and she is in it, she could challenge Janelle for the veto record. She already has 4, and there is still one more left (since this week is a double eviction, there will most likely be no veto comp for the second eviction).

- As much as I hate to say it, it looks like Jessica will indeed be going home, at which point they better go on suicide watch for Eric. He is already devastated about her being on the block and now he is telling her that she is safe...which, she is far from. He will almost certainly think that Jessica views him as a total liar, and I think that may push him over the edge. Another thought on that is that since the HOH and subsequent eviction will be so close together, Eric may not be far behind Jessica because he will be in no condition to compete.

Weekend Travel

The hubby and I traveled from LAX to Columbus, Ohio this weekend. At one point we actually called home to leave a message to remind me of the five things I needed to blog about. Unfortunately, I was not able to take any discreet photos.

1) Transportation - No joke, we're sitting at the gate in Columbus on our way home and I overhear this from the couple next to me (Asian businessman to his Eastern European wife): "Have you arranged for transportation when we arrive in Los Angeles?" I found the use of the word "transportation" odd. Could just be me. I began referring to the wife as a mail order bride. I'm terrible, I know.

2) Angry Passenger - We flew Southwest, so when we stopped in Phoenix we were lucky enough to score the 2 seats in the emergency exit row. YAY! When the rest of the people began to board a guy was waiting to take the middle seat in the exit row behind us. The following ensued:
Flight Attendant: Sir, would you like me to hold your bag while you wait to take your seat?
Angry Man: Well, I am just waiting for this guy to move!
Flight Attendant: Sir, I was just trying to help you out. There's no need to get angry.
Angry Man: Hey, calm down, okay?
Flight Attendant: Sir, if you are going to have that attitude, you should not be sitting in an exit row.
At this point, angry man doesn't say anymore. Then, when the flight attendant is giving our exit row instructions, she makes extra sure to see that he understands, and makes sure that he responds to every question, which just makes him even more angry. Finally, what do you think angry man orders for his drink? Beer, of course.

3) Stupid Travelers - We arrived early at LAX and we sat on the taxi way for what seemed like hours. We sat in one spot for about 10 minutes, then we moved about 20 feet and stopped again. It was obvious that we were still in no man's land. Someone in the back decided they did not want to be patient, so they hit the little service button, which causes a ding...similar to the one when the pilot turns off the seat belt sign. So, after repeatedly being told to stay in our seats with our seat belts securely fastened due to being on an active taxi way, what do people do when they hear the ding? They stand up and start unpacking their stuff of course. If I were the flight attendant, I would have said, "for those of you who stood up, you are free to exit the plane. If you can survive the 30 foot fall, police shooting at you and dogs chasing you, you deserve to get off the plane early. For the rest of you, thank you for being patient while we wait for our gate to be freed up."

4) Ontario vs. LAX - Note to self: Don't be cheap and pay the extra money to fly out of Ontario. You will be MUCH happier and will better be able to resist the urge to strangle those described in #3. If you haven't flown through Ontario, you should. It is far less crowded and a lot more clean than LAX.

5) British lady at LAX?! - Why is the recorded greeting/advisory at the baggage claim at LAX a British woman? Might this confuse those who may be visiting from another country? Then again, it could be in Spanish...
