Random Guy

After the Kings game, one of Mr Kfuj's friends played hockey at the Staples Center. Mr KFuj and Striker kept trying to spot the friend, but weren't sure which player he was. Several in the crowd started referring to one mismatched player as Random Guy because he did not match the "uniform" of either team. That's him in the middle there. With one red sock, one white sock with red and blue stripes, and a blue jersey with red lettering. The official team colors were either red and black (not his team) or blue and yellow. Blue team won - 7-0. (Kings lost in a shoot out.)

When the Cat is Away...

...this mouse does NOT play.

When I found out that the hubby would be out of town for a few days I had illusions of relaxation. Bubble baths, massages, maybe time to read a good book. Instead...

1. Feed Dog
2. Feed Cats
3. Clean out litter box
4. Pick up dog poop
5. Change dog pee pad
6. Take out trash
7. Put car in garage

Do all of the above after working late, scarfing down fast food on the way home, then sitting in bed with work laptop working while loving the furry critters and attempting to watch tivo. Repeat each day until the hubby returns.

Pre-flight Checklist

The hubby is in San Fran at a conference for work this week. He left Tuesday morning and comes home Friday night.

He is not a list maker. At his last 2 jobs he traveled rather excessively and forgot to pack something on almost every trip until we developed the pre-"flight" checklist.

Me: work shirts
Hubby: check
Me: casual shirts
Hubby: check
Me: socks
Hubby: oops...

You get the idea. The best part? I work off my mental list that I've memorized over the years.
