It's Yellow....

And my uncle loves it! He's currently in Reno, which is apparently the only place on the planet that still sells Home Pride Wheat bread. My uncle has the palate of a 4 year old and exclusively eats meat, potatoes, and bread, bologna sandwiches with plain Ruffles, and occasionally Italian food as long as it's pretty much just sauce and pasta or lasagna.

For as long as I can remember he's used Home Pride Wheat as his bread of choice. About a year and a half ago, they stopped selling it in California. This created a family emergency, resulting in a blind taste test of every similar type of wheat bread on the market. We helped him find a substitute he could tolerate, but it just isn't the same.

Every time he makes a trip to Reno he brings home as much bread as he can carry and freezes it. It's a really good thing that bread is not a forbidden carry-on item! Maybe he'll comment now that I've given him his very own post?

Tattoo Barbie

Should I ever have a daughter, she will NOT be playing with Tattoo Barbie. Btw, when did Barbie become so scary looking? My sister confirmed that Barbie was not this scary when we played with her *cough* 20+ years ago.

Saturday Morning

As is typical on Saturday mornings (Sundays too), that's Oskar underneath my elbow with his head on my pillow and body under the blankets. And yes all 3 of us were facing the same direction. You could see Oskar's nose better in the first picture I took, but I'd chopped Striker out of the picture.

Sad Revelation

Last month (April) was my lowest number of posts (14) since June of 2007!!! Please forgive me, and I promise to be better!!!!

Survey Question

I was completing an online survey today and couldn't help but laugh at the options available for the question: How often do you use the internet?

The correct answer for me would be Constantly or Almost Constantly. I settled for several times a day.

Does anyone know anyone who uses the Internet less than once a month?
