Is that a ear-thingy for his phone? Well, you never know when a blue-tooth emergency may come up and it is better to have it at the ready at all times, then miss out.

i take mine out and then forget to unpair it from the phone so when the phone rings and i answer, i hear nothing... annoying! my mom wears hers all the time now too.
