Spelling Bee

The hubby and I are big geeks, surprise I know. While watching the Scripps National Spelling Bee tonight, we saw Serena Skye Laine-Lobsinger get a word wrong that I couldn't even pronounce, but we figured she was still so good at spelling because she always had to spell her entire name.

Note to the future grandparents: our children's first names will be something they won't have to spell since they'll always have to spell their last name. :)

Are you going to give them a symbol for a first name? Like "The Artist Formerly Known As Prince"?

There are twins in KY whose names are pronounced
Or-on-gel-o and
La-mon-gel-o
their mother made those names up because they were her favorite flavors
Orangejello and Lemonjello.

I wish I wrote down the names when I asked a few months ago :-(
