On Saturday, the hubby and I went to IHOP for breakfast. Guess who had what:
A) eggs, hash browns, and sausage
B) orange juice
C) wheat toast, dry
D) omelet (egg beaters) with ham, peppers and onions, and salsa
E) chocolate milk
F) chocolate chip pancakes
Some clues: Both of us are on meds for various diet/health conditions. Only one of us is actually eating the diet to match the meds. :)

Jenn Ann, Trendsetter?
I've never considered myself much of a trendsetter, but by my becoming a follower of the Kim1Champ School of Blogging and Queen B Pearl Addiction (minus the hassles with Sprint), it appears that both KFuj AND my Sistor have followed suit and have succumbed to both blogging and BlackBerries - and even better, blogging about BlackBerries!!!
Granted KFuj is already on her second Curve, and my Sistor can't figure out how to use her Pearl, but with a demo tomorrow for the sistor and this weekend's BBM tutorial for KFuj, they should be ready to go with discrete photography and mobiley blogging!

Signs of Workaholics
Both the hubby and I were working simultaneously today...and we're both on vacation for the rest of the week. Sigh...

For Ann...
Since Ann is a skeptic when it comes to the fun addiction that is Wii...allow me to present: My Mom Playing Wii Fit.
She was hula hooping...and as soon as I can figure out how to upload the video, I'll show you! :)

Hi, My Name is Jenn Ann...
...and I'm a Guitar Hero Addict.
Let's just say that I spent a good portion of my weekend playing Guitar Hero. Let me also clarify that I only play bass and only on Easy - but the hubby and I did pass it together yesterday!
The hubby on the otherhand is a Super Duper Addict. He professed to me Sunday morning that he wasn't going to play at all on Sunday because his wrist hurt. About 30 minutes later, I said that I wanted to play and he joined me (of course). He then proceeded to play many more songs throughout the day.
And yes, he was warned that I was going to blog about our addiction. :)
BTW, if you don't have a Wii, I highly recommend that you get one. Wii Fit is a MUST buy!!!!

Brothers reunited
Meet the newest addition to the Kolbow family: Felix's litter mate, Chaz, or Jack as my sister has nicknamed him.
We brought him home last night and after spending the night in the bathroom, he's begun to venture out and get to know both of his brothers.

Personal Accomplishment
As reflected by my sporadic and generally short blogs the last few weeks, I've been really busy at work. I'm sorry, I suck. I'm on vacation for a few days next week and should be back to normal. Working 12 hours a day limits the amount of quality blog material I can gather.
I sent 2 pictures to Queen B yesterday to show her the chaos that was my desk. She was horribly taken aback by the number of trees that I had murdered. I must admit, there was far too much paper on my desk, and I really do try to use as little as possible.
After working until almost 8 PM last night (much to Bianka's dismay), my desk now looks like this:
Ahhhhhhhh.....

Relay for Life Update
We're getting down to crunch time! The hubby has officially joined my team (mumbling something about marital obligations) and now I'm asking you to! (If I can't get at least 8 more people to commit to doing the relay with us in the next 2 weeks, we're just going to join one of the other teams.)
Most of the details can be found on my previous post here. You don't have to stay the whole 24 hours, and even if you're only able to come for a few hours, I'd love to have you on my team!
To join our team, just click here. You can also make donations there, which will be greatly appreciated in helping us reach our fundraising goal!

Technology & the Medical Field
I think that one of the requirements on my list for things I look for in a doctor or specialist is that they use email communication, and in fact, encourage it.
Other things include that they actually listen to me, don't want to prescribe 85 different medications immediately, offer treatment options, and are top in their specialty (if applicable).
Oh, and when I do have to call the office, their front office people can't be idiots, must answer the phone in a reasonable amount of time, and can't leave me on hold forever. In fact, I'm close to dumping my regular doctor over the issue with the front office. The only thing saving her is that I almost never have to go to her, so I am less irritated by the time I need to go again.
As you might have gathered, I'm a list making, BlackBerry carrying, scheduling type of person. The fact that I can schedule appointments and get test results via email on my BlackBerry makes me a happy patient!

Why I carry a purse MOST of the time
Knowing that I would be spending most of last Saturday with the anti-purse portion of the HCBC, I willingly complied with their anti-purse lifestyle to avoid being taunted for my Coach purse.
I traveled light and stuck only my chapstick, drivers license, debit card, and Mr. Pearl in various pockets of my jeans.
Sometime Saturday night (possibly during our Wal-Mart Adventure?) the corner of my debit card became bent so bad that it was no longer usable. When I tried to buy stuff at Target on Monday, it was spit back at me and declared not readable. Thankfully I'd returned to my purse carrying habit and had an alternate method of payment.
I ordered a new card from WaMu (which I promptly received only 2 days later!) and vowed that I'd stick with purses unless I was somewhere with the hubby. Hubby's make great purses :)

Which is more amusing?
A) The fact that having an "INCHOIR" license plate gets you an automatic pass when you're caught singing in the car, or,
B) The fact that when I passed this car, I got over two lanes (to the slow lane) and slowed down until he passed me again so that I could take this picture? or,
C) The fact that as soon as I did B, I thought it'd make a good blog post?

Fifty Nifty United States
In 5th grade I learned a song to remember the names of all the states. It annoys the hubby to no end when I occasionally break into a rendition whenever the mood strikes me.
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virgina, Washington, West Virgina, Wisconsin, Wyoming!
States I've visited are in bold. Total as of today: 19 Total planned by the end of the summer: 21
How many have you been to?

MIA
I apologize for being MIA for almost a whole week! The hiatus is a result of my being EXTREMELY busy, not for a lack of blog material. I promise to get all caught up soon!
