One of the Most Happy Days of the Year!

Annual Performance Appraisals have now officially been completed for my team!!!! I vow to be a better blogger - I have several topics lined up on my "things to blog" list.

I was comparing rating systems with a certain Kim1Champ last week and we agreed that neither system really helps you understand how you rank...especially when everyone typically falls within 2 numbers.

Good 2
Marginal 1
Unacceptable 0

5 distinguished
4 exceptional
3 successful
2 partially successful
1 unsuccessful


I much more prefer the blog rating system. I'm sure Andrea Braun will agree with me :)

lol. I have a 6 page paper on the topic that I had to do for school, if anyone is interested.

I would hate to review people's performance for real.....I'll gladly review them, just wouldn't want to have to TELL them what I really think!

In performance review meetings I describe successful as meaning:
"Successful is good, it means you do your job well"
