The incident marked the third wrong-side surgery error in the hospital's neurosurgery unit in six years. YIKES! When I had Lasik they were smart enough to stick a patch over the eye not being treated. Sounds like they need to implement something similar!
Wrong sided surgery is so unneeded. Urgh!
