I'm against Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!! But I still won't decorate my house until Thanksgiving weekend. When did we start going straight from Halloween to Christmas? Enjoy the decorations at a local fast food restaurant.

Is that Chick-Fil-A???? I love that place!
I can't handle Christmas until Thanksgiving. Today at Walmart there was no Thanksgiving decorations, just Christmas.
I think I am going to killed on this one but for the first time ever I am considering decorating my house BEFORE Thanksgiving.
Either this weekend or next.....
KT - that's because the peer pressure of Starbucks. They're all about the Peppermint all of a sudden. And the snow flake napkins...
It is Chick-fil-a!
I must admit I did consider decorating early (especially since I'm sitting at home without a whole lot to do). But I just can't decorate until Thanksgiving!!!
Do they even make Thanksgiving decorations any more? I haven't seen any. Where can a girl go to find a wax turkey and his pilgrim friends?? No where apparently.
I am totally against decorating for Christmas right after Halloween. My neighbor a few doors down has her yard totally decorated. There are the blow-up snowman, santa, penguin, and many, many lights. You would think it's Christmas Eve by looking at her house! I will take a pic tonight and post on my blog.
Oh, admit it...the only reason that you won't decorate early is because the HOA says you can't, and since I am on the Board we should probably follow the rules. Otherwise, you would have me on that ladder hanging lights this weekend!
The real question is:
A live or artificial tree?
This is my favorite post of all times. Jennanne I knew i liked you but this is so wonderful. I love christmas so mcuh. I just leave the lights up all year so that when it is time to decorate doug doesnt have to climb up on the roof. i always put lots of lawn ornaments up. All of my neighbors envy our house
