All of these able bodied individuals continued to sit there (including their purse, bag and box) while I stood against the wall. No one offered to move anything or let me sit. How Rude!!!!
You should have determined the rudest person of the bunch, walked up, and said: "um, excuse me, sir/ma'am. I'm going to need to confiscate that chair. It has been deemed critical to an important operation we have going on here code-named I'M ON BED REST!"
